Houserules

To Keep Things Fun and Enjoyable for Everyone, We Are Obliged to Set a Few House Rules

Access Control

At Capt. J's Hurricane, we occasionally implement (selective) access control on certain evenings. This may include, among other things, the following measures:

  • Bag Checks

  • Safety Screening with Metal Detectors

  • ID Checks

  • Verification of Compliance with the Applicable Dress Code

To enter the premises, you are required to comply with these checks and always follow the instructions of staff or security personnel.

Dresscode

The following items are not allowed:

  • Head coverings, except for baseball caps

  • Tracksuits/pants

  • Flip-flops and/or slippers

  • Backpacks and/or large bags

  • Additionally, for men: no neck or waist pouches

General rules

  • Entry is allowed from the age of 18.

  • Once inside, you must hang your coat in the cloakroom. No exceptions will be made!

  • Bringing your own food and/or beverages is not permitted, either inside or on the terrace.

  • It is not allowed to be in the lockable toilets with two or more people.

  • If you had too much alcohol, the bartender can refuse to give you more alcohol

Drugs policy

Carrying or using any form of drugs, including smoking marijuana, is strictly prohibited. This rule applies both inside the premises and on the terrace. Rolling joints is also no longer permitted. If we discover hard drugs or dealing, we will always contact the police immediately!

Agression

We enforce a zero-tolerance policy regarding aggression and violence! Any form of aggression (including threats and shouting) will not be tolerated and will always result in an order to leave the premises. Physical aggression or violence toward staff and/or other guests will lead to the police being contacted immediately. Such behavior will result in an automatic ban of at least three months. If the Collective Hospitality Ban (CHO) in Tilburg is activated, the ban will also apply to all other clubs and restaurants in the entire city center.

Failure to comply with the above rules or to follow the instructions of security or staff will result in expulsion from the premises and the terrace.
